Reducing a Full Package - Optimum Cover

Reducing a Full Package - Optimum Cover

I was hoping to reduce a 6 of 45 wheel - 8145060 lines.
Guaranteed 4 or 5 numbers if 6 numbers drawn.
As expected it looks like it might take a lifetime.
My computer is old and I expect it will take a long time.
Has anyone with a more up to date computer done this?
Is it still a slow process on a powerful computer?

The newer 16C/32T Intel/AMD CPU's could be up to 500% faster than a 2013 era 4 core CPU. So something that takes 30 minutes to calculate now would only take around 5 minutes on the newer CPU. Also, in the main menu Tools-> Options-> Miscellaneous-> Execution tab, set the "Number of threads for long running tasks:" to one thread count less than you have(if you have 8 total, then set it to 7). This is so the OS can operate in the background without lagging/freezing other program calculations.

Is there a tool anywhere which will tell me how many lines would be left if I wanted packages to contain
One instance of any 5 numbers in 6 numbers
One instance of any 4 numbers in 6 numbers

I hope that makes sense. :)

I wonder if the answer for 5 of 6 numbers from 45 might be
8145060/40 = 209.000 approx

The numbers 1 2 3 4 5 occur 40 times. Once with each of the numbers 6 to 45.

I don't know of any software that would give that information directly. I just use fewer numbers to wheel or reduce the package for faster processing to get an idea about the count of tickets needed for a guarantee.

I shoiuld have just looked at the information on the lottery site because they tell you the odds of getting 5 numbers.
In the 6/45 game I play the odds of getting 5 numbers is 36690.
