Stats Filter Sum Pairs ....HELP please.

Stats Filter Sum Pairs ....HELP please.

Postby pyst7lot » Sat Mar 21, 2026 10:52 am

I have set up two filter groups in a complex filter to deal with two uses of this filter.
First Group
Using the last 12 draws for the 15 pairs (6 number lottery)
Prior checking reveals to me that between 1 and 5 of the pairs have appeared before in those 12 draws.
Checked against previous draws between 1 and 5 accounts for 90% of them.

Second Group
Using the last 22 draws for the 15 pairs.
Prior checking reveals to me that between 6 and 10 of the pairs have appeared before in those 22 draws

Now how do I configure the accept/reject options for both these groups?

I would like to keep.
For the 12 draws filter - all combinations where between 1 and 5 of the sums have appeared before.
For the 22 draws filter - all combinaions where between 6 and 10 of the sums have appeared before.

I thought they would be the same but they aren't - or I'm doing something really wrong!

What does give me the desired result - the winning combination is the following.

For the 12 previous draws I Accept all entries and Accept the group with a setting of Min filters to pass 1 and Max filters to pass 5.

For the 22 previous draws I accept all entries and Reject the group with a setting of Min filters to pass 6 and Max filters to pass 10.

I'm confused as to why one groups needs to be Accepted and the other to be Rejected for my winning combination to be retained.

Grrrrrr...... found a mistake in my Excel.

The 22 draws needed to be set at Min 5 Max 10 ..... not 6 and 10.

I think I'm know what I'm doing now. lol not really :)

I do hope I am doing something right and it works for 90% of draws like I think it does.

It gives me a 63% reduction.
