Analyzer Vertical Pairs Sums BUGGY

Analyzer Vertical Pairs Sums BUGGY

Postby pyst7lot » Sat Sep 14, 2024 9:12 am

I don't enjoy pointing out the failings of this brilliant software BUT..... nothing said, nothing fixed.

When using the analyzer I often find when I select things to paste into a complex filter that what gets pasted is the previous selection. And only when I paste a second time does the new selection get pasted.

Example with Vertical Pairs Sums.
First I select Vertical Pairs Sum 1[1] for all the occurences in the past 30 draws.
Paste that into my complex filter.
Next a select Vertical Pairs Sum 1[2] for all the occurences in the past 30 draws.
Paste that into my complex filter BUT what gets pasted is occurences for Vertical Pairs Sum 1[1] again.
A second attempt to paste then correctly pastes occurences for Vertical Pairs Sum 1[2]

Just be aware and double check your pastes from the Analyser into a complex filter.

Another question.
Does the Winning Numbers Draws selection serve any purpose for this filter?

Also checking.
Does Draw Distance 1 equal the sums of the numbers in consecutive draws?

I have something driving me nuts.
I am using Vertical Pairs Sums as a filter - not in analyser.
I have input the sums in each position for the last two draws.(Draw Distance 1)
I do not want any of them to repeat so I select 1 to 6 to pass and set to reject.
I add a Match Numbers filter for the next (new) draw and set to Match 6.
I know that none of the new Vertical Sums (Draw Distance 1) match the previous ones.
When I run the filters the new draw gets eliminated when it shouldn't
GRRRRRRRRR.

Now I'm thinking the Draw Distance in the analyser is not the same as the filter.

I presume that in the analyser that Vertical Pairs Sum 1 [1] means Vert Pair Position 1 Draw Distance 1

Well that equals Vert Pr Position 1 Draw Distance 0 in the VPSum filter.

Am I just confused?

Bug(?). The Copy/Paste function will use the previous copy if you select/highlight the root Complex Filter(CF) group before going back the analyzer.
Steps to reproduce this issue;
1. Right-click Copy/Paste an analyzer row into a CF group.
2. Now select/highlight the same CF filter group.
3. Then go back to the analyzer and Copy a different row.
4. Paste that analyzer row into the same CF group,...except now it will only copy the previous analyzer row from step 1.

No.

Draw Distance 1 equals skip 1 draw.
1,2,3,4,5,6
2,3,4,5,6,7 <- skip this draw
3,4,5,6,7,8

So position 1 would be, 1+3 = 4.

The analyzer and properties are using Draw Distance 0, or consecutive previous draws with no skips(afaik).

Thanks tdn. I figured it out in the end but it did confuse me. That's for the Draw Distance, at least. It is a bit confusing with what they have done. I have to double think Draw Distances to be sure I get it right.
The copy/paste is odd in that the first paste can sometimes be from the previous copy and yet a 2nd paste immediately usually makes the correct paste.
