MS Windows

For MS Windows operating systems you should use the ExpertLotto-Install.exe installation package, which you can download here.

After starting the installater you will be prompted to select the installation language. Then the setup wizard will be started which will let you choose the installation directory and it will also create shortcuts in the Start menu and on the desktop for you.

Other operating systems

For other operating systems - Linux, Mac OS, Unix - you should use the expertlotto-install.jar installation package, which you can download here.

The following command will start the installation process:
java -jar expertlotto-install.jar

After language choice the setup wizard will let you choose the installation directory. The installer cannot create startup shortcuts however it will provide you with enough information so that you can setup the shortcuts manually.

To run the application use the startup script "expertlotto.sh" in the bin folder in installation directory:
<path to installation directory>/expertlotto/bin/expertlotto.sh

Note: You will need the Java environment version 1.4 or better to install and run Expert Lotto. If you don't have Java installed on your machine the installer will prompt you to download Java from www.java.com and the installation process will end.
