It is very easy to setup a new lottery with Expert Lotto. The application includes Lottery Wizard, which is available from Lottery Manager window (menu Lotteries -> Manager, this feature is also available in the free version).

Start the Lottery Wizard by clicking New Lottery button. The wizard will prompt you a series of simple questions to describe your lottery - how many numbers are drawn, what is the size of the drawing pool, which days the drawings are made on, which number combinations are the winning ones etc.

After answering these question the wizard will ask you to enter playslip layout and dimensions to enable printing to official lottery playslips. For this part of the wizard you will need a ruler and a lottery playslip. We recommend to have a printer connected to your computer so that you can use Test Print feature to validate entered values. To define the playslip layout you must enter the count and the dimensions of panels, the dimensions of check boxes etc.
You can skip this part of the wizard if you don't have the lottery playslip available or if you will not use the playslip printing feature.

After finishing the wizard you can start playing your new lottery. For example you can use Import Wizard to fill the winning numbers database from data published on the official lottery web site. You can also see this instructional video which demonstrates how to use the Import Wizard.
