Winning Numbers Match Intervals Filter

Winning Numbers Match Intervals Filter

Postby Gatsby » Thu Apr 27, 2017 7:37 pm

Hi Stan,

I was trying to achieve this:

I want to filter all the combinations that have numbers within the intervals defined by the previously last draw.

If that draw was 1-12-16-27-45, then the intervals would be 1-1, 2-12, 13-16, 17-27, 28-50. And a combination like 1-4-15-17-47 would be removed.

Is this possible with the actual EL filters?

If not, is it possible to implement this filter, with the same possible settings as Range Patterns filter (but if possible with the option to choose x to y ranges to pass instead of a ticket box, which in this case i think would be better)

Thanks

There's Number Distance filter, can't you use that one?

Hi Stan,

I haven´t been looking at this for a while, so i supposed that i could do it with "Number Distance Filter, but no. Number distance filter works with fixed distances and what i was looking for is to work with Ranges, so is it possible for you to add this feature to EL?

Example: if i put Number Distance 1 - 0 match latest draw and latest draw = 8, then only combinations started by 8 will be removed; what i would like is to work with ranges, so in this case all combinations which have numbers going from 1 to 8 should be removed.

Thanks.

Hi,

It does but it´s necessary to change the range limits for every draw, so it could be easier if it could be set as a statistical filter to set parameters for Latest, etc.

Sorry, I'm a bit confused now. It is possible to select Number Distance in Statistical Filter. So what exactly is missing in Expert Lotto then?

Hi Stan,

This is meant to work more like "Number Range" statistical filter, but instead of a 5 or 10 as partition it should take as limits the limits from Numer Distance Filter, that is from the 0 to the first draw number, then from the 1st to the 2nd picked numbers, ...

Hi Stan,

I´ve been looking at "Number Distance" filter again and it seems i made a mistake while using the settings for this filter. I putt it to strict and that led me to beliefe it didn´t work as i supposed. After rearranging the filter it does seems to work fine. This is what happens when you don´t look through with suficient attention to what you are doing...

Apologize for that.

Regards and thanks for your support as allways.

Hi Stan

After quite a while without using EL, now that i have sometime again, i can see that in facto this filter (Number Distance) cannot do what i´m looking. Because it considers the distances between Picks (as it should...) and not the actual intervals. So if Pick 1 = 2 and Pick 2=4, de difference is 2 and it will start filter combinations with Pick 1=1 and Pick 2=3, but also with Pick 1=18 and Pick 2= 20. What i want is some filter thar stays within the ranges defined by P1 and P2, that is from 2 to 4.

I´m looking for something like a Range Filter, with the ranges defined by the Picked numbers themselves:

Ex: draw 5 15 22 35 43 would have ranges 1-5, 6-15, 16-22, 23-35 , 36-50

Might be due to my distraction but i don´t see how i can already achieve this with EL5.1 as it is

Can you do something about this? Would be much appreciated.

It's in today's dev build update.

See 'Draw Ranges' filter and stats.
