The formula I used in Excel to determine if positions 1 thru 5 were progressive (=AND (P2>=P1, P3>=P2, P4>=P3, P5>=P4).
The idea is to see if the last digits in positions 1 thru 5 progressively increase in value.

The idea is to see if the last digits in positions 1 thru 3 progressively increase in value.

The idea is to see if the last digits in positions 2 thru 5 progressively increase in value.
The idea is to see if the last digits in positions 2 thru 4 progressively increase in value.
The idea is to see if the last digits in positions 2 thru 3 progressively increase in value.
The idea is to see if the last digits in positions 3 thru 5 progressively increase in value.
The idea is to see if the last digits in positions 3 thru 4 progressively increase in value.
The idea is to see if the last digits in positions 4 thru 5 progressively increase in value.
The spin buttons would only have positional range choices of 1 to 5, 1 to 4, 1 to 3, 1 to 2, 2 to 5, 2 to 4, 2 to 3, 3 to 4, 3 to 5, and 4 to 5.
If last digits in positions 1 thru 5 progressively increase in value (1, 2, 3, 4, 5) = TRUE, the last digit combination is progressive.
If last digits in positions 1 thru 5 progressively increase in value (1, 2, 1, 4, 5) = FALSE, the last digit combination is Non- progressive. In this statement the last digit of 1 in the 3rd position makes the last digit combination Non-Progressive.
If last digits in positions 4 thru 5 progressively increase in value (2, 1, 3, 4, 5) = TRUE, the last digit combination is progressive.
If last digits in positions 4 thru 5 progressively increase in value (1, 2, 1, 6, 5) = FALSE, the last digit combination is Non- progressive. In this statement the last digit of 6 in the 4th position makes the last digit combination Non-Progressive.
I hope this makes things a little clearer, for my 5/39 I would use (Progressive Last Digits range is from position 1 to 5, REJECT) to filter out all of the progressive last digit combinations.
