download build 595

Build 614 is available

Postby stan » Fri Aug 26, 2005 8:24 pm

build 614 is available for download with the following updates:

* some bug fixes
* a new option in number groups filter
* new ticket statistics available from the package page. these stats are similar to winning numbers stats table but their settings (visible items, wn draws count) are separate. that means changes in this new window are not visible in the wn stats table and vice versa. columns 'hit xx prev' and 'repeated xx' always use the latest xx draws from wn database.

(i'm planning to add a new page that will show the package contents the same way as the wn stats table)

you can download build 615. there's a new Package Statistics page showing stats details for each ticket in the package. it should help you to 'hand-pick' the best tickets.

Stan, the package statistics page is great. You guys are Great. I have so much to see and learn from the program, I don't know how the other users still find things for you to add on, but go for it guys or girls.

Hi Stan,

Good job!! :cheesy:

The last digit by position filter would be very useful too, especially
in combination with the numbers by postion filter. ---> I already tested this filter combination with a program I wrote ;

I select for each position 8 to 10 numbers (highest frequency per position) and for each postion 4 to 6 last digits I think that will have a good chance to come up the next draw. After filtering you'll have 1000 to 10000 combinations left in a 6/45 game (combinations left depends on the filter selection).

As you can see these 2 filters combinated can be very powerful in combination reduction (and safely).

it's possible to emulate the first/last digit position filter with the numbers position filter.
but i'll add the first/last digit filter for convenience anyway :-)

btw, it's very easy to add new columns to winning numbers and package stats tables. so let me know if you have any other statistic values that you want tracked in a similar fashion.

Winning numbers stats table

Hi Stan,

Actually I have one...for the number groups...I'm still high on number groups as you can see :-D

What I'd like to see there is from how many groups do the WN come, i.e.

now you see in number groups 2-1-0-0-1 (for a pick 5 lottery divided into 5 groups)...which means numbers come from 3 groups....so I'd like to see a column with a 3.

I'll explain why...it's very difficult visually to see from how many groups the winning numbers come. Numbers from 1 or 2 groups are statistically very uninteresting, sou you could order the column ascending or descending to see somewhat clearer how many number groups are interesting.

By ordering the current column ascending or descending soesn't make this clear that's why I'm asking this....because numbers from 2 groups can be 0-0-0-1-1 or 1-0-0-0-1 which wouldn't appear one above the other.

Hope you understand :moody:

Greets...

Build 617

Postby Simon69 » Mon Sep 05, 2005 11:04 pm

Hi Stan,

Thanks again!!! :cheesy:

As you mentioned ;
"it's possible to emulate the first/last digit position filter with the numbers position filter."

That is true but now it (the last digit filter) makes the filtering a lot easier in my opinion....

Will there be also a tickets postion table for the last/first digits available in a future build?

Thanks...
