i have a few packages with different filters applied to them.
package 1-sum only
package 2-groups only
etc, etc
i'm aware of the filters area, if i could type in what package it applies to.

not sure i understand...

if you save your package in a text format you add any number of lines starting with '#' as your comments describing the package content. or you can use verylongfilenamestodescribetheconent...

package 1 has 5 filters applied
package 2 has 6 diff filters applied,

one package may have successive numbers in them, the other package may have them removed

may want to use package with successive numbers in them, but dont know which one it is.

anyway, you answered, use long file name. or use pen and paper.
