WNH History...More columns

WNH History...More columns

Postby Alcymart » Thu Nov 23, 2006 8:27 am

I know this may involve lots of coding, however if we had 50+ columns, wouldn't the WNH differences be much lower thus would be much easier to predict the outcome with a simple -5+5?

Has this been attempted before and what were the results? Because the idea is not to predict the outcome of 50+ columns but instead would permit us to cover all possibilities of the outcome with a simple -5+5 or even lower. Thus no predicting per say is involved. On the opposite side, only 1 column would give big diff ranges thus harder to predict the outcome.

Would a beta plugin be a possibility for those who want to test with a configurable amount of columns of their choice?

adding more history columns doesn't mean the difference values will be lower. look at the number history tab and imagine additional 40+ columns. the sum values are the summary values in each table column, the differences are the difference between the current sum and the sum from the previous draw. adding more history column changes nothing, it just increases the chance that your estimates will be wrong.

Hi Stan...then are you not saying that having less columns would increase our chances that our estimates would be right? Have you ever tried 6 columns for your 6/49? What are the advantages and disadvantages of having less than 11 columns?

advantage: you're less likely to make a mistake
disadvantage: more tickets left after filtering

obviously you can filter with less history column even with the current version of expert lotto - just untick the appropriate rows in the table in the filter window
