Hi Stan

Just another question, is the following the same filter?

If I set the winning number history to filter ±35
and
If I do the following compound filter:
History 0 to -11 ±35 but 0-3pass
History 0 to -11 ±25 but 0-4pass
History 0 to -11 ±20 but 0-5pass
History 0 to -11 ±15 but 0-4pass
History 0 to -11 ±10 but 0-6pass
History 0 to -11 ±5 but 0-6pass
History 0 to -11 ±0 but 0-2pass
All the above must pass the filter

Cheers

i don't think those two filters are equal. what are you trying to achieve with this?

Hi Stan, this is my aim, I am trying to create a filter that will use the following settings:
Max 0 - 3 colums ±35
Max 0 - 4 colums ±20
Max 0 - 6 Colums ±10
Max 0 - 6 Colums ±5
Max 0 - 2 Colums ±0

How would you go about in achieving this filter

Hi Stan

How would you set the filter up for the following:
WNH ±35 Colums to pass = 0 - 2
WNH ±20 Colums to pass = 0 - 4
WNH ±15 Colums to pass = 0 - 4
WNH ±10 Colums to pass = 0 - 6
WNH ±05 Colums to pass = 0 - 3
WNH ±00 Colums to pass = 0 - 1

just use compound filter as you've already suggested. i'd use 'and' as the logical condition.

If I do as you suggested I loose the winning number.
End up with alot of 4's

try to relax the at least x to y must pass conditions. the winsum plugin will show you the most frequent combinations

Another question, how do you filter for + or - movement
eg: on average there are 2 - 6 of the 11 colums -,
and 6 - 8 of the 11 colums +

How to set filter

Set the following

The difference in "2" to "6"
is at most "-xx" to"-1"

AND

The difference in "6" to "8"

is at most "0" to "+yy"

2 Scoops,

I don't know if you read them but I made some posts back in April/May concerning this subject, "Making Estimates" & "At Least & Difference Columns". This is the primary reason for posting my spreadsheet last week and for asking Stan to "Fix" the difference settings in WNHistory. Glad to see someone else is on the same wavelength. ;-)
