Number of threads, tickets and 64 bits adjustments

Hello everybody,

EL is working perfectly but I would like to have more precisions on the following points. I noticed already a few things about in the forum but not giving me the answers I am looking for.

First, here is my config. :
Application Version: Expert Lotto 5.8 [161005]
Java Version: 1.8.0_65; Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM 25.65-b01
System Version: Windows 7 version 6.1 running on x86; fr_FR (expertlotto)
User Dir: C:\Users\Phil\AppData\Roaming\.expertlotto\release
Lottery name: Loto
Lottery dir: C:\Users\Phil\Lotteries\Loto
Lottery URL: http://www.fdj.fr
Toshiba/ Intel(R) Core (TM) i7-3540M CPU @ 3.00 GHz
Memory (RAM) 8,00 Go
OS Windows 7 Professionnel 64 bits

1/ To improve further the application performance :
- should I adjust the number of execution threads in Tools - Options - Misc - Execution? (2 ==> 4 ?)
- as well as the number of tickets ? (10000 ==> ?)

2/ The bin directory show expertlotto.exe and expertlotto64.exe and the EL icon on my desk points to expertlotto.exe :
- should I change this for expertlotto64.exe ?

Set it to 7. You CPU has 2 cores with 4 threads each. So with these settings you'll max out Expert Lotto processing speed while keeping a one execution thread for other apps and the operating system.

It's not going to make a big difference, leave it as it is.

You'd need to install 64-bit version of Java first to use expertlotto64.exe. And it's a good idea to do so as it'll allow you to pass more RAM to the Expert Lotto process.
