Texas MegaMillions Playslip

Texas MegaMillions Playslip

Is there a trick to setting up the Texas Mega Millions playslip?

I ran through the editor but the Texas playslip starts the powerball numbers on the last line of the main numbers. So on that
line you have 55 and 56 and 4 blank spots and then 1, 2 and 3 for the powerball. I don't see a way to make this happen in the setup.

I purchased the 4.95 trial to see if this will work and plan to purchase the full registration for all the other
cool things the software does.

Please attach a screen shot of the playslip (or simply post us the actual paper playslips and we'll setup the printing template for you..)

Hi Stan

Here is a link to the official Texas lottery site showing the payslip and directions for filling it out

http://www.txlottery.org/export/sites/l ... lions.html

Hope this helps.

Thanks for the link.

It might be a bit tricky to setup playslip printing for this lottery. First you'll have to setup a new Mega Millions lottery and in Ticket Panel wizard step choose "Empty boxes before the lowest number: 6" for the Powerball panel. Then you can continue with new playslip setup and the numbers should be printed out correctly.

I'm using version EL 5.1.1 and it does not stop on the "8. Ticket Panel" option, jumps right to "9. Destination", it creates the lottery and is done.

Am I looking in the right place?

That's weird. And when you click 'Back' button while at the 'Destination' step, where does the wizard return to?

Here are the steps I take:

File | New | Lottery...
Select MegaMillions...
Jumps from 1. Select Lottery to 9. Destination
I hit back and it goes back to 1. Select Lottery.

I see, you have to pick option 'Create other lottery' in 'Select Lottery' screen.

Ahh... makes sense now.

New problem, I get to the poweball panel to change "Empty boxes before the lowest number: 6"
and it only lets me go to 5. Can that limit be changed to 6 somehow?

You need to adjust the number of columns to 9 first...

I had already done that, seems to be a limit of 5.

8 columns lets me put in 6 but if I go to 9 columns it changes back to 5.

Mega Millions is 56/1 +46 PB's.

Oh well, it's a bug in the application. The maximum count of empty boxes depends on the count of panel rows instead of panel columns.

I've attached Mega Millions lottery with correct panel setup.

Just tested the lottery file you uploaded Stan, sorry to be a pain but it did not work.

I setup a ticket 1-2-3-4-5-1 to print and the powerball 1 checked the 55 which is the first item of that row. The test pattern
does not show the powerballs spaced over 6 positions either.
